Art. 177b (1) Commercial services

1 The FOAG, its research and experimental stations (Article 114) and the Federal Stud Farm (Article 147) may provide commercial services for third parties if such services:

  • a. are closely related to their main tasks;
  • b. do not compromise the completion of their main tasks; and
  • c. require a negligible amount of additional material and personnel.

    • 2 Commercial services must be provided at a cost-effective price based on an estimate of cost and income. The EAER may allow exceptions for certain services if they do not entail competition for private businesses.
