Art. 141 Livestock Breeding Promotion of livestock breeding

1 The Confederation may promote the breeding of livestock which:

  • a. is adapted to the natural conditions prevailing;
  • b. (1) is healthy, productive and resistant; and
  • c. leads to the market-orientated and low-cost production of high-quality meat products.

    • 2 The promotion of livestock breeding should ensure high-quality independent animal husbandry.
