Introduction BetmG

The Swiss Narcotics Act regulates the handling of narcotics in Switzerland. It determines which substances are considered narcotic drugs and is subject to international drug control law. The law regulates the cultivation, production, trade, possession and consumption of narcotic drugs and establishes penalties for violations. It also contains provisions on the medical use of narcotic drugs and the prevention of addiction. The aim of the law is to combat the misuse of narcotic drugs and to protect public health.
